What would you do?

If you could spend one year in perfect happiness but afterward would remember nothing of the experience would you do so? If not, why not?
And, on the same thread... Which is more important: actual experiences, or the memories that remain when the experiences are over?

yes i will grab that chances cause happiness when you feel it dont let it slip away.humans don't have contentment we always want some changes when we had it...we never had satisfaction in life we always want something new or something good.happiness is very general but if its truly happiness that comes within then go for it even if only for a year.then along the way u will feel it "de javu"...after its gone.
u need to feel both the experiences, happiness, pain, glory, good or bad..then memories of it will come to follow.if there's something you cherished then pick it and whatever bad experiences you had,it will be a lesson for you to change in another perspective.experiences helps us to be a better person.memories will motivate and inspires us to cling to something nice.

thank you for your response. i think you put it well. you have to grab any chance at happiness as it comes along, and hope that even if you don't have the actual memory, the feeling of contentment will stay with you as long as possible afterwards.
