I have an aunt who sends us all cards for every holiday and birthday... I am terrible about remembering to send birthday cards until it's too late!
Do you send out birthday cards? How about get well cards? If you don't, is it because you just forget, or you don't ever plan to?

ABSOLUTELY!! Yes, I do send cards. Birthday, Christmas, sometimes get well, Sympathy. I think with the electronics age, so many people just resort to that and the art of writing and sending cards is being lost....but TO ME.....it just speaks so much more and says that you are important and I thought of you today.
I know it makes ME feel good when I get a card.

I so agree that it speaks so much and is very important to let them know that we still care and they are important in our lives. It does make me feel good to receive a card too

I normally send e-cards to most anymore. I do send cards out for no reason though, just to let people know I'm thinking about them. I also mail out sympathy cards and sometimes get well, if the person is in the hospital or has been ill or a while. Thinking of you cards is my favorite.

Oh Yes, I do. I hand pick each one of them.It takes me forever to pick my cards. My husband just drops me off at halmark and comes back after me...LOL I do sent get well cards. I keep several nice ones on hand at all times.
In January of each year, I make a list of the birthday cards I will need. I go to halmark with my list in hand. When I get home, I write who it is for and date to mail, where the stamp goes. The first of each month, I go get the cards for that month and get them ready to mail. I add the stamp last so I can cover the info that I have written.
I spend alot of money on cards because I want them to perfect and I want the receipient go know that I was thinking of them.

Alright, it's January. I've only missed one birthday so far this year. Time to get organized!
I need to make up a list of everyone in the family's birthday and any friends that I want to send cards to. I already have the cards... I joined a card program through Guideposts and have some really, really nice cards for all occasions, so I can't use the excuse of not having cards.
I might even sit down this weekend and do the whole year's worth of cards! Then at the beginning of each month, all I have to do is mail them.
Thanks for the information. I love it!

I do send out birthday cards. I have the people I care about on my calander in the kitchen with their birthdays and anniversaries. I then try and remember to send them out. I usually gets the cards for three months at a time. But I don't always remember to actually get them out in the mail in the proper time.

I sent Christmas cards to all and sundry. I like buying birthday cards for friends and family. I mostly just give those to them when I see them. I tend to use ecards for long distance friends or people I don't have the address for.
It is just much easier to email.

I'm very bad at this but I have friens who always remember so try to keep a couple on hand. I buy them whenever a see one I like but sometimes I even forget what I have. Last November I bought tons of beautiful old Mary Engelbreit Christmas cards in a thrift store for a mere 5 cents apiece. But I forgot I had them when time for sending Christmas cards rolled around.

I'm bad about sending cards out but every now and then I do remember to send them. I would rather call the person who is having a birthday or whatever the occasion happens to be and talk to them or even send them an e-card.

I have every intention of sending out birthday cards each year- I buy them ahead of time and put them in my card book-- you know the kind where you right down names and b-day and it has 12 folders for the 12 months.. I most of the time forget and its a belated card. : ( My daughter is making it better though now that she is 10 she looks at the book more often and reminds me- I try to hand deliver the cards to my closest friends and family.. with a small gift. I only send cards to people who don't live in the area. And when all else fails-- I use bluemountain.com online cards!

I send out Christmas cards.
I think it is a nice touch for friends to know that you still remember them. ;-)
