I have seen the movie a few times. I think that Val Kilmer did a great job at playing Jim Morrison. The movie is a must watch for any Doors fan.

I liked it, but I hear the Doors were pissed off by it and said it might as well have been the "Jim Morrison Story" as it only concentrates on him. I have to say I'm inclined to agree as you find out practically nothing about any of the other band members.

I have this movie, and I must say this: Val Kilmer is absolutely f*ing phenomenal as Jim Morrison. That aside, the movie was incredible, although I agree with the guy above me who said that they showed the crazy side of Jim. But then again, I mean how would we know if he really was or wasn't that "crazy" in his daily life?
