Do you think your mother -in -law is always right?

i think mom in law are also human sometime she's right.. sometime not.. with my mum in law i make me feel more stronger. i just take all her opinion as my a direction and good advice from her. i like the way she thought about life. she's now a big businesswoman here malaysia. everything she said are consider tips and very good to follow. even she's not have much time with us, she will organize breakfast, picnic, family day. i love her the way she was now. :) thnx.

For me,I take heed of my mother-in-laws suggestions or decissions but it doesn't mean that I will follow or obey all of them, I have to consider my part if I will be happy on that decision or not, if it can affects my future and most of all my family.We are an individual, we have the right to decide for ourselves because we know what will make us happy.I always explain to her why I choose this decision or why I take her decision. In that way, we both gained respect.

of course not. Just respect her decision sometimes but not at all times. U have to speak up also. I thank God because we have a good relationship of my mother in law,but even though we r in good terms i think of having my own abode,because we share in 1 roof....

You must have a wonderful mother-in-law! I love mine, but do not agree with everyting she says. I do agree that she is older and has lived alot more than I have, but we have different views as to raising our children, we are from different religious backgrounds so we tend to crash quite a bit. Don't get me wrong. She is a wonderful lady. I am blessed to have a woman like her around my children. We just don't agree on everthing.

They are definately not always right, however mine thinks so too. I think its more of a control thing, and they feel they have to win at everything. I try to please my mother in law, but if I know im in the right, I surely let her know
