my grandson may have touretts

he has been turning his neck ,shutting his eyes with a jerking motion. he started this christmas eve and went hosiptal christmas day and they said it was a mussle spasum. Then he went to his doctor and they are setting up tests. does anyone have a child with this? He is 7 years old
