Guiding a pregnant teen

The news of the girl's pregnancy did not really surprise me. Her lifestyle has showed that it was only a matter of time. But, I need to help her make the best decision possible. She is a smoker, drinker, partier, with an alcoholic boyfriend and father. She works nights at one job, another job is done at the local bar, and a third job is making pizzas. She doesn't seem equipped to handle motherhood at all. How can I encourage her to consider adoption? Why do so few pregnant girls choose adoption?
