Not Really A Question, More of An Update

Thanks! I have to head back to school on Sunday and I dread it. I've had the worst time trying to concentrate on anything, and last night was the first night I've gotten any decent sleep since Sunday. It's amazing how quickly things change.

seriously, it is very difficult to actually digest tha fact that the dear one who was all along with you, just a few days before, a few hours before is no more... i did feel this when my grand mother passed away, it was like i could really not believe it...all the two days i was in my uncles house there i was like.. come on, how can things change so suddenly...

Thanks - I think this is probably the hardest thing I've ever gone through...it's such a helpless feeling, because there's nothing you can do to change it. I'm just thankful he's no longer in pain!

Thanks so much - it's not been easy, but my family and I have definitely felt everyone's prayers. I don't think we could have made it through without them!

Thanks for the note - I still feel the loss tremendously, as I'm sure I will for a while, but God has made it as easy as he possibly could in this situation for my family and I, and I can't be more thankful to him for the time I have had with my Father. I can't wait to see him again!

Thanks :) - this is the first time I've ever gone through anything like this, but even in the midst of the pain, we've had God's peace around us, and I know it's because of everyone praying. Thank you so much!

Thanks so much :) - My Dad was diabetic and had heart disease, but because of many mistakes from the hospital, he went in for a heart catheterization and make a long story short, ended up having a stroke and a heart attack in the same day and another heartattack a few weeks later in rehab. He then had congestive heart failure, had to have his leg amputated at the knee, and ended up with a feeding tube - so by the time he passed away on Sunday, he couldn't see, walk, eat, and was struggling just to breathe, much less talk. It was a painful ordeal to watch, but he remained positive through the whole thing. I'm so thankful for the time God gave us with Him, but I miss him terribly.
