same discussions on different pages?

I am just wondering why is it that when i am browsing to discussions some of them appears on every or not every but every other page? have you guys noticed about it?

Are you saying that the discussions are duplicated or copied? I have noticed when I answer a friends discussion that there are often 5 more discussions very similar to what I am answering. So that what you are meaning? The copying indeed is a problem. The others are just more talk about the same discussion which we are supposed to check and see if it has been done! I look forward to what you meant!

i have also noticed what you've said.. maybe topics with the same toughts and meaning should be removed. but what i am sayin is that same topic of the same author appears in every or every other page when i am browsing dicussions.. they said that it because topics are automatically updated when somebody responds to it thats why sometimes some topics that appears already on the first page might appear again on the 2nd or 3rd page..

This site is based on ASP coding . As the new pages are added to the system , the page we have just seen becomes next page and so on . And the posts are randomized . so we get repeated topics on the different pages .

yes, i have noticed it myself. i hope MyLot admin polishes programming on 'fetching' info in the database.

hope they can do something on it.. before i thought somebody is copying somebodys topic but i read it they have they are a topic of the same person.. if it will be fixe it will cost less time to scan topics that you want to reply..

Thats true, you could see similar topics on every other if not every page. I think the reason for this is the fact that mylot has an all time high member of 60,000(compared to other sites of the same nature). This means that when someone posted a topic about earning chances are there are 100's others who are currently posting the same topic.
