Does anyone have any ideas?

I have been looking for work since November of 2006 and have not had any luck. I need to find something that I can do that either has a flexible schedule (so that I have childcare available), I can take my son with me, or that I can do from home. I have no income because my son's father is a deadbeat and I haven't been able to find a way to make a steady income. My bills are piling up and the only reason my son and I aren't homeless is because we live with my parents. Any suggestions you have that may help would be much appreciated.

Contact your local welfare office and unemployment office and ask what they have available for job training and daycare. The government funds these programs to help people such as yourself get on your feet financially and get back to work. The programs are called by different names in different states so you may have to be persistent till you find where the funds are. The program we have in Nevada subsidizes child care costs on a sliding scale based on your income. I have seen some parents pay zero for their child's care while others pay up to 90%. As to work from home, I've been looking for years, but most everything I've found is either a scam or involves selling -- which I suck at. Good luck on the job hunt.

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately when I contacted the welfare department they told me that they can't help me because I live with my parents. I don't know why they expect my parents to be able to pay for everything for me, but apparently that is what they think should happen. The only thing that I have ever found that I actually make a little bit of money online is this site and moola.com
