Have you ever put something away for safe keeping then forget where you put it?

I had done this many times a day I forget my cellphone,keys, and specially remote contorl for my TV. It was created big problem for me. I found these things here and there but atlast they found inside my pillows and sofa.

It's really bad for me when I do that to my glasses, because I can't see clearly anything over 18 inches away. But mostly it is my employee badge. I had to replace it three (maybe four) times last year, at ten dollars a pop. Now I have put extra keys to my department on top of my kitchen cabinets, and the blades hang off the edge slightly, so I know where they are. I really should do that with my employee badge, too, come to think of it, but when I come home late. I can't find my birth certificate, I have no idea where I put it. I have a box for income tax stuff and I thought it was there. It will cost me $12 to get another copy ...
