Can long distance relationship really work??

being apart from the ne you love is really hard. i, myself have experienced this. my parents live in another city, in our hometown, me? i live in another city. i study here and i barely see my parents and siblings. my elder two older sisters are also living in a different city. mu Gd, it's very hard to live like this. and now.. my bf(lover) is a long way from home... and i totally miss him. i really miss him. he's been away for more than 5years now... that sometimes i just wanna give up... now i ask myself... will i continue this relationship? can long distance relationship really work??? i just wanna give up..

I really don't think so. It's really hard to maintain such type of relationship. I had around 4 long distance relationship and all doesnt work out. I guess there is some tendency of infidelity and lost trust in your mate ,if your very far from each other. It's really hard because it needed a lot of effort in such type of relationship before it work out.

It is hard and I have never been succesful in it. But I am not saying that is is impossible. It is possible. You have to do lots of work though. Like, you have to trust each other. You have to set promises like how often should he or you call him. When are you gonna meet him. The frequency of meeting him. But its all come back to trust and revolve around it. It is the most important thing in a long distance relationship
