Would you rather be a dumper or a dumpee

I've been both. In the short run, the dumpee suffers the most, because usually the dumper is on their way to someone else, or some great adventure, and so on, not really thinking too much about the one they left. But over time, these things have a way of catching up to everyone. We all must deal with all of our actions and take responsibility for them. We may not really think consciously about them for years, but we wonder why we always wake up in the morning hating ourselves and our lives. If you must leave someone else, please do it with integrity and kindness, because they are going to hurt.

I've had my share of both roles. Although I don't think about it conciuisly and I don't try to do it deliberately, I think I'd beeb more of a dumper than a dumpee. Sometimes I beat them to it making the dumper the dumpee and vice versa.

I would rather be the 'dumper', it's not as painful because you no longer have any feelings for the other person.
