I have 3 children...my son is 2 and my daughters are 4. They listen to me rather well when their father is home, which is great. However, as soon as he walks out the door to go to work, all hell breaks loose. Bedtime is complete insanity and usually the only way I get them to sleep is by threatening to tell their father how bad they are acting or by actually calling him. He works nights and it makes it very difficult since I work in the afternoons and have to get up early to get myself and the kids ready. So, my question to you is this...
Who do your children listen to best? I'm just wondering, since mine refuse to listen to me unless "Daddy" is home!

Daddy is the softy in our home. So if they get in trouble they run to Daddy. He always backs me though. They listen to both of us.

Lucky! Mine do okay some of the time, but bedtime is really hard. Especially throughout the week while he is at work on nights.

I'll try some of those suggestions and hopefully something will work! Thank you for your time that you take in writing your responses!
