Do you have a boss who makes tons of $, yet doesn't know how to use the internet

Seriously, what is up with that? I have a boss who makes over 6 figures, and even after 9 months, I still have to show her how to find a webpage. I just don't get it.
How is it that so many people like this are running huge corporations? It scares me to realize how incompetent some of people are!!
Or am I just being the bratty Gen Y worker who isn't respecting my elders? Any thoughts?

Hmm, you can find a number of such examples, but if you count their experience which had made them reach such high position and post, you will be amazed. With time, the technology changes a lot, so it is not a new thing that many older and experienced people do not know even a little about the internet and moreover, they are evne not interested in learning it either.

I'm sure it's tough to keep up with, but if something as huge as the internet comes in and changes the world, wouldn't you want to be in on it? I mean, my grandma has learned how to use email and do basic computer stuff...and she doesn't have the managament responsibilities or high pay motivating her to do it!
I totally respect that about her!!
I'm sure you're right though. They must have done something right to get to that point...or just took credit from the people under them as someone else posted!

Some people just have a knack for earning off of others sweat! I call them a$$ kissers and back stabbers. I hear what you are saying, I have worked in the retail industry for a lot of years and I was doing management's job put getting regular pay.

LOL.. that was really funny. Some bosses are on the typical side, meaning.. all they know is on the management side and dont know any technicalities... Most of the bosses just give you orders to do this and that in general, then you will do all the details, after you finish the job, he will get all the fame and money for your hardwork. They are called the "typical bosses".. But i think your boss is somwhat "dumb" hehehe. He must know it with regards to the money he is earning.
