I thought I would ask what everyone's worst dating experiences have been. Figured this might be kind of entertaining. I know my worst was really hitting it off with someone, very smiley and friendly with me. and about an hour into hour date she excuses herself to the restroom and NEVER CAME BACK. Never. Never called or anything. So what are your experiences?

Oh boy, how do I pick a *worst*?
There are two that really jump out at me, both of them from when I was living in Washington.
The first one was when I was dating this girl I thought was a dream come true. She was a ballerina turned model and she was French. She was beautiful. Toned, fit, blond with the most amazing green eyes I'd ever seen. She was intelligent, which drew me immediately. but she was tactful, reserved, quiet, soft spoken and so observant. In short, everything I wasn't. We were going out for a month and then she asks me to meet her for coffee, because she has something to tell me. Her big news?
She's pregnant.
The only thing that tops that is the person I dated after her. We met at a Goth club, and she introduced herself to me as Alex. She was tall, lean, with a boyish figure that I went nuts over. And it was more than her figure that was boyish - she had that look some girls have, like a very feminine boy. I'm extremely attracted to androgynous looking women.
As it turns out... she was a very androgynous looking teenage boy. Who went to lesbian clubs to pick up women.

Here is mine in a nutshell ...
A friend said she had good luck at a dating site so I joined, paid my fee, filled out the forms etc. Then this guy messages me, sounds like we are a complete match. Things we had in common: sport bikes, Lego, Pez, food choices, working out .. just to name a few. So he tells me he owns his own business, drives an imported vehicle, is planning on traveling in the summer .. certainly piqued my curiosity so we arranged to meet. Turns out his "business" was delivering pizzas and newspapers, his imported vehicle was a Vespa scooter and the traveling plans he had were with his grandparents.
Top that one .. I dare ya LOL

My worst dating experiance was actually not sooo bad, it was just embarrassing coz even though we had talked in the past (we worked together) while on the date, noone had ANYTHINg to say.. so we just sat there and said nothing... awkward to say the lease. My mobile rang, it was my mom. had no ide what she wanted i just bursted out:
Are you for real - I will be there in half an hour, excused myself, said that it was a family emergency and left *he he he*
At work after that we never spoke again unless necessary =)

Mine was when I was 18 years old. I dated this boy for about 6 months then he took me to my prom. I was so in love, but he wouldn't kiss me! He never put a move on me, well at this age I just knew it was because I was a beast of course. Then he just stopped calling or coming around, no rythm or reason. After I married and had my first child, it all came to light. He came out! Everyone kept telling me back then he was gay, I thought they we being mean or somthing. Nope, he is gay and proud now. It may be wrong, but it does make me feel better to know that. :-)

Amazing how when someone comes out, many look at them and say,"Well Duh. We've known for years."
