How many of you are keeping an EYE on the way that Mylot does things here?? I am asking because i would like to track jsut how i get my earnings also. How do yo go about this? How do you keep track of the money that your making when the amount of money that you make doesn't appear until the following day? So how do you all keep track of your earnings this way?

If you want to keep an eye on mylot then you can do it but I don't think you will ever be successful as to how mylot pays its members because it is secret algorithm which I suspect they will never reveal it and the algorithm always changes therefore sometime you will see a rise in your earning and sometimes you don't.

I had no idea that there was such a thing as a algorithm and that it changed daily. Thank you for the information though you are most helpful and you answered me perfectly!

Hello. I started here 3 days ago and have not really got the grasp on things yet. All I know is that i must be doing something right. Mu earnings did go up and so did my rating. they are several discussions here on topics to improve your earnings. I have started a few of those topics myself with questions and alot of people here answered me pretty thoroughly on it. We all post post post discussions and we also respond to alot of discussions. We rate people too which helps them earn more and when people rate you, you earn more too. We Tag the discussions, we choose a best response, you can add pictures to your responses also. Mylot says they look for quality responses with more than one word. they like for you to use sentences instead of one work answers. The longer the discussion the more you make is what I have heard. I have also heard you can earn more by getting more people to respond to your discussions. Hope this helps ya with something you may not have known. I really dont know how to track the earnings though. I do however keep a list of the amount of the posts I make each day by that number beside our names. I post all the way up to get thru that 24th hour. Sleeping in between time of course. But as soon as that 24 hour mark hit, I write down how many posts I had for that 24 hour period. And how much i earned. for instane day number 1 I had 72 posts. Day number 2 I ended with a total of 170 posts. today is my day number 3 and it will end around 8 am in the morning for me. so by 8 am I will see how many more posts I have higher than the 170 mark and see what they gave me for earnings on the earnings page.

If you have only started 3 days ago then congratulations on how well you have really done. If you read the best response for this it will tell you exactly what you need to know to earn!! Which is why i marked as my best response ...LOL!! You are awesome though that';s for sure and keep up the good work!!!

It's hard to work out just what pays best on MyLot.
Many people forget that you get paid for comments (even though it doesn't change the number after our name). Hence there is the mis-impression that some are paid 3 cents per response and some are paid just 1 cent - I think the former have forgotton to account for the comments they leave on their own discussions.
It's also hard to work out what you get paid for starting discussions. I also think that certain types of serious discussions earn more than others.
The only thing I'm definitely sure about, is that having your response marked as "best" increases your earnings, and that closing your discussions by marking the best also pays for the discussion owner. It's something to bear in mind as we come to the end of the month.

I don't follow my earning all that closely. I do know that if I make about 20 good quality posts per day I am going to make between $1 and $1.50. It all depends on the popularity of the post and if I am posting responses or comments. You do get paid for both, but I think responses are much more heavily weighed in myLot's algorhythm then comments are.
Rather then worrying about your earnings I would worry more about making good posts with details and well thought out answers. This will get you the highest earnings per post that you can get. It will also give you a better chance at someone giving your response a + rating or ever a best response rating. The more of these you have the higher your earning and your reputation.

Kool...Thank you for sharing your information. So you make from like $1 to a $1.50 for only 20 posts? That is really amazing everything that you post must have about the best quality out there! Good job and that and thank you for such inspirational advice!

Yes they have algorithm, some people get paid 1c a post (or even less) for low quality responses and discussions and some make 3c to 5c (I even saw people saying it's up to 8c) but maybe very few members reach that high..
It's a secret algorithm not to give the cheaters a chance to imitate what looks like "quality posts" .. we can guess that length of the post, your star rate, how many "best responses" you have and maybe time between posts.. maybe all that can determine who gets paid higher rates..
I tried to calculate and keep track of things sometimes but it's not worth it.. I think if we post quality posts it will get recognized and our rates will keep improving, I saw better earnings lately comparing number of points I make in a day to the sum of that day..

The first thing that I see after logging into Mylot is to check my earning for the day and analyse how i achieved that much. I always keep an eye of the discussions I hv started and always make sure I ma adding comments to responses i m receiving. I also make sure to add comments to others responses and discussion started by others.

I also immediately check my earnings but i do not analyze how i achieved that much because i do not keep track of what i do! I always do my absolute best to get back to my posts and comment and i also make sure when i do i always leave a plus ratng for everything that i do read!!!

That sounds just about like what I do in a days time too. There just isnt enough time in a day to respond back to everyone who posts on all my discussions, so I just skip around the site and post here and there, and reply to my discussion that members here responded. Really hard to work everyone in just one day. But it all seems to work out. I dont think we will all be able to respond to everyone who posts on our discussions but I think mylot sees we at least try to.

mYLot gives credit to your response. They pay you more if your response is very good.

I just way til the next day when the earnings are updated to see how much I have earned. I also look at my ratings to see how many responses I have made though it may not be totally accurate because sometimes you get more than a point for a good response and to one that had not had a response previously. You also get more money when you include photos with your topic or comments as long as it is related to the topic on hand. I always pay attention to the alerts that myLot sends out as well.

The best thing I do is try and keep track of my number. I try to remember how much my number went up then divide it by my earnings the next day. If my number went up bt 10 I usually get about 30 or so cents for that. Sometimes more and sometimes a bit less. Also take in to consideration anything you get from images and refferrals. Also just have fun too.

I was keeping an "eye" on myLot by keeping track of how many posts I made in a day and then dividing that amount by me earnings for that day. I found that over a period of two weeks I was making about 4 to 5 cents per post. I have stopped doing this but based on my earnings of the last couple of days it seems like it is holding true.
Like everyone is telling you, you need to make quality posts that people are going to be pleased with to get you some + ratings. Just take your time and put forth some good thought to your responses and I think that you will be satisfied with your earnings.

I am satisfied with my earnings i do not make less than $3 a day and i have had this little streak going for awhile. I am just curious as to how they go about everything! Snowflake got my best response for this discussion though due to the fact that she answered everything perfectly to as what i needed to know!

You can learn alot by watching what Mylot does. Personally I keep a little binder by the computer and jot down what they pay me for what. Also when it changes. I keep columns for posts, pictures, paid for posts, paid for pictures, paid for referral, then monthly total and to date total. They seem to really tinker with things around pay date! Just been doing this since I got here so things may change yet again. Good luck it is worth it to watch what is going on, just like you pay attention to a pay stub.

I would like to know the same thing, but havent' gotten a response from anyone yet on the way it is done. I have heard you get .02 per post and then I have heard that there is no certain amount per post. I am not sure. Sorry I wasn't much help..just wanted to let you know that I am in the same boat as you are. :)

Yes I do sometimes track my earnings here but I really dont have idea how Mylot pays us. I respond for about 3 to 4 lines and yet sometimes I get enough money for the response I made. I hope Mylot will reveal to us how they really pays us.

The way i see it, i reckon they work out the earnings based on how much they make through various different earnings schemes. So for me i am just trying to continously post. I have only been here for a week or so but am starting to try and get some people to sign up with my referral link so that i can make an extra little bit of money. I currently have 1 referral but i dont think he is taking it seriously. I just want to try and make as much as possible before the inevitable less of earnings produced from myLot.
