I wonder why we attach undue importance to religion in the sphere of faith. Faith, as I have understood it is, a peronal conviction in something or someone, which is beyong the influence of society, or even other persons. religious faith could also be understood this way, and I daresay, that it must be understood 'only' this way. But is indeed sad to see how organised religion has taken over the concerns of faith, and has started to use it as a propaganda. The moment you drag politics to the public domain, you are apt to create unforeseen troubles. May be, the public aspect of religion can be extended to community worship, but if we tend to extend it as an ideology, faith will definitely vanish. I think faith exists in a unique manner, in accordance with the unique mind set of individuals. Therefore, religious faith is not compatible with any kind of ideology.

we all believe in our parents.
right?
but there are certain instances when even they become helpless.
in such conditions we need a "bigger man" for a support.
god is such a powerful support for us that boost us physically, mentally & eternally.

do you believe that you are born to this earth because of your mom and dad?
do you believe that the earth, planets, heaven and all the living things exist without the ONE who create it,
do you believe you know everything? or it must be the ONE who knows everything?

we believe god.. because........ if something happen wrong in our life.. we are going to god to rectify the problem.. there is a trust created that our god will take care of that problems.. and we leave that problems in temple, church, mosque etc.. and we relieve from that tension.. so we need to believe god.. and that is only belief...
