What do you think is the meaning of tears?

Sometimes tear you can see when someone is sad and sometimes when someone is happy..So what is really the exact meaning of tears for you?

for me, tears are manifestations of deep and extreme feelings. If we are very very happy, we cry but at the same time we're smiling. when we are sad or in grief, we also cry, and there are times that when we get so pissed, we just cry. so i think that tears are expreesions of heavy feelings that we just cannot control and that we have to express.

I believe tears come about at the highest level of emotion. I some what agree with the other guy. If you truly feel very strong about something whether it is positive or negative here comes the tears. So basically I think tears show true emotion if they are genuine.

Tears are a liquid produced by the body's process of lacrimation to clean and lubricate the eyes.
