I was told that most European do not like it as it produce a foul smell they say. But when they try it, it is hard for them to stop.
It's hard to get to the inner part of the fruit as it is hard to open and it has thorns around it skin. If you have not try it, I suggest you to try. It it the king of fruit.

I don't like durian but I like the paste they make out of it. My mom will cook my favorite dishes with it. My husband do not like it though, so I have to go to my mom place to get my favorite food.

i can enjoy so much from this fruit. though its very nasty or having foul odor still when you eat this one fresh & chilled it's very milky & delicious. there's a lot of products from this also as made into ice cream , pies , candies & chips ! people here in DAVAO , Philippines can easily take out the fruit from the thorny skin or peel ! during fruit bearing season of durian people can buy anywhere of this for even the cheapest price of P10.00 per kilo or the equivalent value of $0.20 .
