This friend of mine does not eat properly because she thinks she is getting bigger. Just recently she does not want to eat for 1 whole day because the other day she said she was eating too much... I have been telling her that it is not good especially that she is taking some medicines prescribed by her doctor... I am so tired of telling her the disadvantages of her actions but she just won't listen to the point of making me irritated! One thing I hate is, she always asks me if shes getting too fat, and I always say that her body is just the normal size of her age, but still she won't listen! What should I do? If I won't tell her of the consecquences of her actions, then I would feel guilty about it!!!

that is definitely bad. starving herself will only make her worse. not only will her weight slide back once she starts eating, she will also develop stomach problems like ulcers and other diseases related to that. if she won't liste to you, why don't you try to find out what the source of her insecurity is. why does she think she's fat when she's, in fact, just normal. maybe she is being pressured at home or something. try talking to her parents or her siblings about the effect it has on her. or try to divert her attention from the problems she has there so she wouldn't take it out onher body. good luck!
