for my point of view, i think ronnie alcano from philippine is the best n wat do you think? he got a very good control of the cue ball n place the ball very very well! he's the champion for the last world pool championship at manila.

You totally forgot Efren "bata" Reyes, Django Bustamante. According to sports writers, Efren "bata" Reyes was the best pool player last 2006, he has the highest gross winning (cash Price) compared to other pool player all over the world. Everyone here in the philippines will say the same thing, that Efren Reyes is the best!

Maybe last 2006, but champion for all time is Efren Bata Reyes since Reyes according to Alcano was his idol. Well, everyone has a choice and everyones choice is correct.
Can we play 9 ball sometimes..
