Its not a matter of loyalty its a matter of dependancy. A dog depends on its owner to do things like let it out of a place it cant usually get out of (the house) to have fun and exercise, to feed it etc.
So in a way its a loyalty based totally on dependancy, which means you can only really compare it to how a baby is loyal, which is a bit daft I know but most little kids are loyal to their parents as hell.
The point I am trying to make is if somethings dependant on something else or feels it is getting a bloody good deal, they will always be loyal. Its when they dont think they are that they will drift from the loyalty in search for other rewards. On the other hand people make mistakes in terms of loyalty, trust and decisions so the answer is probably dogs, but who is to say when they are on the run they arent looking for something better?

dogs. dogs need human to look after them and feed them. human dont need other people around therefore they dont need 2 be loyal all the time because they kno they can look after themselves.

A human must not be compared with an animal whoever the animal is loyal. The friend who replied to you first is so right. I agree wiht him. A human is more loyal than a dog.
