My husband hates them, but I love them. We went on Sunday to see "Pan's Labyrinth" and it was an excellent movie! Somewhat graphic, but the movie was Spanish (so it didn't have any American famous people in it) and was subtitled in English. Have you seen it? What do you think of subtitled movies?

To be honest, I don't usually go for subtitled movies. Mainly because I need to wear glasses to read the subtitles, and I never remember to take them! I did see Pans Labarynth a while ago though, and really enjoyed it :o)

When your mother language isn't English than you are used to look movies with subtitles, cause almost every movie is produced in the USA or England. And so it doesn't bother me at all, it is as normal as walking for me.

I personally do not like movies with subtitles. I hate having to pay attention to the words and possibly miss out on what is happenieng on the screen. I enjoy the aspects of listening anyway....

I only appreciate movies with subtitles when they're originally in a language which I am not able to understand, otherwise I prefer it withouth them. I'll go ahead and say I much rather a film subtitled than dubbed anyday, I can't really stand dubbed movies, it completely turns me off.
