Our goals in life vary with age. As a young child, I remember my main goal is to be old enough to be independent. I achieved that goal 100% at 16 years old as I worked my way through college despite my parents disapproval saying they can afford to finance my studies. Then I set a goal to stay single if not for life, then at least until I am 35. I failed on this one totally having gotten married at 24. Failures followed through one after the other. My husband and I, couldn't see eye to eye. We've been living apart but never had opted for a legal separation. Seeing each other though very scarcely, we produced three offsprings. All three grew up with me, and boy, how difficult had it been! All my efforts though are well rewarded with three God-fearing and very loving children. There is no way I would allow any of them to go wayward. God has been very good to us always, I would conclude. This is now the measure of my success.
