Does Google Adsense really pay?

Recently I have heard many cases where google adsense has banned acounts without stating any detailed reason. Actually I have few blogs where I am displaying google ads. The earning is really slow, but I have managed to reach $75. Now I am having doubt will I get paid or not after crossing $100. Please share your experience with google adsense.
