Dog seizures

My dog is almost 4. (She's a medium size mixed breed)A year ago, she had a major seizure. I took her to the vets and she was put on meds. She was on the meds for 6 months and has not had any meds since. She has shown no problems at all since not being on meds. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this same situation...and whether or not they put their dog back on meds or discontinued the meds...and if their dog had further seizures?
