How old were you when you had your wisdom teeth pulled? / myLot

I know, this may be an odd topic! Though, I was thinking, for me I was 19 when I had them out, but a friend of mine recently had his out and he is 32. I was just wondering so we could see the different age range of people this affects.

I was 16 when I had mine pulled, but I had mine pulled in a very unusual way. I had to have corrective surgery done on my jaw, they had to take a piece from my lower jaw and put it on my top jaw. So I guess to avoid further problems later in life, they removed my wisdom teeth at the same time.

I still have some of my wisdom teeth . Years ago when I was in my early twenties , had to get one pulled because I was having a lot of pain . They were able to tell me that all my wisdom teeth are in my jaw . I was told that eventually I will have to back and have the rest pulled because it will bother me again someday , they thought I would have to have them all out but so far I have been lucky and haven't noticed anything .
