Relative to the period 1860–1900, global temperatures on both land and sea have increased by 0.75 °C (1.4 °F), according to the instrumental temperature record. Do you think the developed countries are really taking the most needed steps to reduce the amount of green house gases let out into the atmosphere ? What are the rules that you think will reduce these emissions ? Will the future generation need to breath contaminated air?

in answer to your first question, no - look at the world most advanced economy (America)and their recent withdrawal from the Kyoto protocol (An agreement to limit the levels of CO2 pollution) and their presidents statement of 'i will not agree to anything that will harm the economy'
There are current rules and things in place - for example most EU countries have measures to reduce CO2 output by 20% every 10 years or something - however any savings made here are more than made up for by America and China. Also under the current system each country is alloted an amount of CO2 pollution they can produce - this has led to countries like America buying African countries allotments. so yeah our great grandchildren are screwed
