what your thinking about civil engineering profession?

i think that it is an evergreen profession and it is the one on which we all rely for our shelter needs. architecture has come of age in these years and civil helps in the estimation of the strength of the buildings and the beams which are there in the building. so i think that civil is an important profession as it provides us one of the 3 basic amenities viz. food, shelter and clothes.
