LOL Yes I'm glad miseryguts Sonia's gone too! And with Martin (I can't act to save my life) Fowler too, that's another reason to keep watching.

What are the storylines like these days? I'm stuck with the episodes right before everyone gets killed off lol. I think Steve will get killed in the exploding car sometime soon. Jaime will die in a few months' time and I think Barry will fall off the cliff soon. I heard that there are not many people recognizable from the main characters I'm used to. That'll totally bite since my fave characters are Lisa, Jaime and Kat. I also liked Irene and Rosy. As for the original topic of the thread, they should show Eastenders fewer times a week. It's quality that matters, not quantity. I think if a show is shown too many times a week, the storylines suffer because the writers run out of ideas and sometimes use them over again.

hi john.
no, i don't really think eastenders is past it's sell-by date. it is the same as coronation street and emmerdale i think in that it has some great storylines but also has some boring and quiet periods so people tend to switch off.
i watch coronation street but must admit my favourite soap has been eastenders, even if it so depressing at times lol!
