I overcame learning disabilities! I still have a hard time occasionally, but thanks to some help from a psychiatrist and my parents, I've learned how to compensate. Now I'm almost finished with college and getting ready to go to law school so that I can help other people with learning disabilities like mine.

Awesome. And law school as well. Nothing beats
a great support group, professional and family.
Looks to me as though you've got your future
well planned out.

Good job man. I'll bet it feels great.
Not only losing the weight but the sense
of accomplishment. ‹(°¿°)›

Probably graduating high school. It was a bumpy ride, but I'm glad that all of my friends and I made it together.

Damn good for you. I had a tough time
too but I brought it down on myself.
I ended up in three different high
schools within the four years. I
graduated and eventually went on to
college.
I know this is going to sound cliche but
if you can go to college now, don't wit.
Believe me. To live above the poverty line
these days you need more than a high school
diploma.

I hear you loud and clear. They can bring such
a gambit of emotions and highs & lows but at the
end of the day they are the light of our lives.

My children are loving, beautiful, well mannered, smart, and kind. I'd have to say they are probably my best accomplishment so far.

You know, I can't think of anything better
than parents giving the world a stable and
well developed next generation.

with my 25 years here on earth, i culd that finish my degree on time was one of my greatest achievement. it was a mixture of fun and difficult experiences which has molded me to become a much better person. It also prepared me to face the world that I am currently in right now. how about you? :)

Absolutely. In addition to what I said
above, school is a testing ground for
more than just paper tests. From high
school through college, you are being
prepped for life. Not only with book
smarts but social skills as well. As
you said, it prepares you for the world.
This is so overused but the world can
be a cold harsh place if you don't come
prepared.
It's imperative nowadays to have a
college degree. I don't care if it's
clown college. You need a degree to
be a successful clown. ‹(°¿°)›

There are a lot of things I am proud of in my life. Among these are my three children, being married for 20+ years and learning top play the keyboard at the age of 39. I'm sure there are a lot of other things that I will do in my life to make me proud also.

Again, like I said above, nothing beats raising
children. Anything else you're doing now is a
bonus. 20+ years is great considering the times
we live in. Music is beautiful for our souls.
Enjoy your new talent. Your avatar and photos
are nice.

I think one of my biggest assets generally is being able to move anywhere and adapt easily. There's nothing like moving to a totally new city and finding a new life for yourself. For my biggest accomplishment, I would say that I got a job in London when I was living in Washington, DC. And I did it over the phone. After I was hired, my boss came to DC and met me, but I really secured the job before then. I worked there for two years (I had a two-year work permit, and they asked me to stay, but I moved back to the States because my father was gravely ill.) It was an awesome experience. I loved living there and had a great time, made a lot of pretty great friends and traveled.

That's great. Being able to adapt to new things,
people, surroundings, etc, enriches our lives.

I don't know how to put it into words but I guess I have accomplished my living. Alot of people had ended their lives because they are too miserable, they cannot anymore go with the flow. Personally, I have done and have experienced so many things that people my age haven't. Problems that made me go crazy, that made me think I don't want to belong here anymore...but I survived and glady surpassed all of those. Here I'am now, stronger than I used to be years ago. I give myself credit (and also those who helped me move on) for being brave and keeping myself together. Without those experiences and hardships, I couldn't be who I'am now.

Every time I read what you say, the more mature
I know you are beyond your years. It is indeed
the rough times in our lives that make us wiser
and stronger, not the easy times. Giving credit
to those who support you is proof alone that you
have been through and overcome hardships and know
what it means to be humble.
Live your life as you have been, fully & wisely
and you will be rewarded.

My dream since I was a teenager was to have 4 children
and be an active loving mom and stay at home to nurture them. My four children are my greatest accomplishment and my greatest joy.

Fantastic. Nothing can be more rewarding than
raising children. I know it sounds like a cliche
but if someone as devoted as you isn't there for
your children, than where are we going to be in
our future. Good parents and good teachers are
the backbone of our world. ‹(°¿°)›

They both sound wonderful. What a great plan
for the future, playing music as a career and
knowing who you want to spend the rest of your
life with.
