im a stay at home mom and i love the job. i was never really a career-oriented person and this is what i envisioned my life would be when i get married. being a stay at home parent is the most difficult job in the world because you're always on call. even when you're sleeping, no day offs. the rewards would be seeing your children and husband happy and well taken cared of.

Currently I am also a stay at home mom. I ran a daycare from my home until just last week and I agree with you it is the most difficult job in the world however it is also the most rewarding in my opinion. It's great to be able to be there for your children whenever they need you and as a stay at home mom you get to see all their "firsts".
