M USING WINDOWS XP , IT IS GOOD TO OPERATE .
BEFORE XP I USED WINDOWS 98 BUT WINDOWS TAKE HIS HAND BACK FROM 98 SO I CHANGED MY OPERATING SYSTEM N SWITCH OVER TO XP.

in Home i use window XP because it is user friendly as compared to open source software like Linux.i like to use Fedora linux in college due to its programming capibility and most of all it is free.

I am using windows XP version.
This one is working fine.
My friends suggested me
the new windows vista,
but I will not change it so soon,
unless it gets the public admiration.
Can you write on vista your opinion please?
And which one you are using & why?
Do you want to suggest any thing about the OS?

well the media center is a rockin' OS...if you've a good internet connection you can watch tv on your pc free of cost..
it has a better interface than that of Win Xp sp 2

i am using linux, my favourite operating system ! The distribution i have installed is ubuntu !
I prefer it than windows xp because it's free, has the same feature and it is newbie-friendly !

k...even i tried linux.....try Open Suse 10.2.....you'll drop your jaw when you'll install it....its much much better that ubuntu

Linux is my favorite system too. I am using Mandriva, but I have some other live CDs, notably Kubunto, DSL, Knoppix...

currently i am using windows xp. i was using windows 98 during early days. but now using xp. i think xp is more user friendly and has many advantages over 98. so i am using xp

I am using Windows XP Proffesional. I prefer it because it is more reliable than Windows 98 version. Also I came to know from a News Article that Microsoft is ready to introduce the next version of Disk Operating System into the market very soon. The name of the next version is Windows Vista. Has anyone heard about this?

I would say windows is user friendly if you have used windows since you first saw computers. While if you want to customize it or want to use it on your old system its not good. I use Linux at home while my Employer uses windows hence I have regular experience of using both to great extend. While latest Linux distributions are as "user friendly" unless you have not tried them.

I use Windows and Linux. My dad doesn't like Linux so I have Windows installed for him. My favorite distriubtion is PCLinuxOS. I agree that Ubuntu is really crappy compared to some distros, and I don't know why it's so popular when there are others much much better. PCLinuxOS is, I believe, the best, easiest-to-use distro in the Linux world.
