Question from d bible....

The Creation accounts in Genesis are not literal history. The accounts in Genesis chapters 1 through to 3 are a parable about WHY God created all that is, not the mechanics of How. The Book of Genesis tells us that God created Adam from the Hebrew 'Admah (of the) Red earth and Eve (Hebrew: Life) and that they populated the planet. It is a mistake to take the story literally because when we do it leads to this kind of confusion. kiwimac

Adam and Eve had a third son named Seth and they also begot other sons and daughters who married and begot children and spread on the various parts of the earth. Genesis 5:4 says ... and he had other sons and daughters, this is referring to Adam the first man.

I agree, it is a mystery, one of many when I read the bible. I can guess at what might have happened. God created Adam and he was in charge of the animals, even naming them. It doesn't say if God created any other men. It doesn't say that Adam was the only one created. Then God saw that Adam was lonely and created Eve. It doesnt say how long a time there was before he created her. Cain was sent out into the wilderness and he married. So there must have been other humans created sometime or other. But if every single detail of creation was reported, how big would the bible be? Who could read it all? Are there other scrolls out there that haven't been discovered yet for the full story? It is the mystery of faith for everyone.

I just heard about that, that's a very interesting fact, I don't know but I will ask somebody who is very familiar with the Bible. If that is possible, It simply means that there are other persons rather than Adam and Eve.

yah! thats a big questions in the bible.. but other says that before god's made the commandment about adultery, it is applicable of having relationship with same blood, thats maybe one factor why people generate...
