This weekend, my two children are going to visit their dad's house. So it will be just hubby, baby (7months old) and I all weekend. The hubby and i need to spend sometime together. What are somethings we can do together (and take baby with us)? I'm not into fancy things, like restraunts, or dinners. We just seriously need to get out of the house. Any ideas?

My hubby and I love to take ours out to barnes N' Noble, when it's about nap time, (if your baby will fall asleep in the car seat... that works too) get some coffee, and a book/magazine and relax and enjoy yourselves. We also love to put our kids in a stroller and walk through the mall and window shop. Another fun thing to do is rent a romantic movie, get a to-go order from your favorite resteraunt, (dessert too!) when the baby is alseep, cuddle up on the couch eat your dinner and watch your movie. Hope these Ideas helped. Have fun!!!

Thank you for the advice. i do know that it's hard to spend time together as a couple when you have kids. thanks again.

Go window shopping. This will give you a chance to get out of the house and day dream about different things that you would like to have but just is not in the budget. My husband and I will also go for a drive during nap this lets us get out and the kids don't get fussy in the back seat.

Strap baby onto daddy's back and go for a long walk with a light picnic at half time. You can talk without interruption, see things to trigger a conversation subject and maybe even meet other couples for a chat. And fresh air for baby will make him/her sleep like a top!

Thank you for the advice, but i have to say something about the walk. I live in South Carolina... and it's cold to be taking baby on walks. thanks anyways
