Williams has looked like her old intense self at times. Not consistently, but enough to get this far. She's really been rising to the challege aginst her competitors.

i have seen all of serena's matches and she does look in good form, anyone can win this obviously. all the games will be close and good to watch

I think kim clijters will win the turnnament this year . Beacause i saw her matches and she plays very well in this period. Perhaps the semifinal Sharapova - Clijters is the realy final of this turnament .

I know Clijsters really wants to win because it's her last Aus. OPen, but she looked nervous last night... maybe she wants to win so much because of this, she's putting too much pressure on herself?

Serena has just won the semi against Nicole 7-6, 6-4. I thought Nicole would have done better. I think the next one between Clijsters and Sharapova will be a great natch - Clijsters to win.

Williams really lifted her game this time, not much of the wild shots she's usually had. I'm surprised both of the semis were in straight sets. I'm hoping the final will be a good, competitive, close match.

i think it will be maria sharapova, she is of course the top seed and is playing some great tennis at the moment, it will be very close between any of the women so will be very interesting to see hwta happens but i just favour sharapova

I like Sharapova too. She and Clijsters both looked pretty unsteady in winning yesterday; Williams hadn't been really match-tested coming in to this tournament but has had a great run so far. And the fourth player I really don't know much about--really any of them could win it all, I think.

Williams seems very good even though she's obviously carrying a lot of extra weight. I'm surprised she can move as well as she can with that extra baggage on her butt and thighs! I'm glad that I'll be able to see the match live. It's on at 9:30 pm in the U.S., while many of the matches have been on at 3:30am.

Williams has been inconsistent, but she's really been able to turn up the intensity when it counted most. She's got as good a chance as any of them.

i think maria sharapova will win the australian open. she is playing very good tennis and she just needs to keep her composure.her stokes are powerful and accurate. she is hot too.

If she can play the way she's capable of playing and stay cool, she's got a great chance. And yes, she has great looks and style. She's what Anna Kournikova what supposed to be, but Sharapova has the game to match her looks!
