Samuel Eto'O Fils - Samuel Eto'o is the best African Player of the last years.
I think it will be Samuel Eto'O. Drogba may be a fine striker, but let's not forget that Eto'O is Barcelona's best striker, an that, in 2006 Barcelona won La Liga and Champions League...

Didier Drogba has had a brilliant season and notched up many great goals. Etoo has been injured recently and has not hit top form. So i believe Drogba will win it as he has been the one running the front line with Shevchenkos presence non-existant. Essien has been good too but i feel Drogba has done enough to win the award.

i think drogba would be getting the best player award.. he has performed extremely well with chelsea and his nation ivory coast in 2006.. he was the reason for chelsea claiming the championship.. so no doubt.. he is the 2006 AFRICAN FOOTBALLER OF THE YEAR

Eto'o is the better player for me. I'm not realy a fan of drogba and i'm more of a striker's man than a midfielder's guy so i pick Eto'o.

i think didier drogba is the best striker of africa so no doubt this lad from ivory coast should win the best player award.....didier u really rock.......and i believe he will take chelsea to greater heights

I think that could be Drogba, he have played ver well in 2006, and is a great part of Chelsea success.

i would say didier drogba he is in top form for chelsea as much as i dont like him, you have to admire his game this season, been scoring goals from all over the park
