You need to have a lan card installed on each computer and the computers linked toghether with a cross-over cable.

It's pretty simple actually. You'll need some network cables (UTP Cables) with RJ45s on either end sutup as cross-over cables. Plug each end to each PC's LAN card. If you are using WinXP, the system will cnfigure itself. =)
