is it good to play games (Politics) at work place?

When i see something wrong or people doing things wrong i directly go and tell them on the face but why people do back biting. there are few people who just let the person be happy they cannot see any one happy and they will try to do things here and there so that we get misunderstandings among each other. any idea how can we keep ourself away from such situations.

I never, like such a work place, i would like to tell thank to god given a wonderful and better job and post. as per my dream. If they are follow the politics in work place those companies will never improved.
