What is more important? Health, Wealth, or Faith in a Higher Power.

As we all grow older and hopefully wiser every day of our lives. Do you ever question yourself as to what the most important things in life are? Is it health, wealth, religion or something else. As busy as our daily lives have become, it looks like we have to take baby steps each day and make several decisions during the day to help guide us through the decisions we make. We choose whatever is important to us at the time of crisis we may be going through. But, is there anyone out there that can truly say they rely on one personally thing to get them through? What are the things you are working or striving to put more time into to better yourself. Is it health, wealth, religion, possibly a career or something else. I think most of my days that I go through. My faith and determination gets me there.

Faith in a higher power is more important, especially belief in God. You depend on God who gives you your health, and the ability to get wealthy. However, you cannot just depend on God and say that if I just belief, God will be like a magician and grant me everything I desire. However Faith in God is no good if you decide to eat like a pig, be careless, and spend like there is no tomorrow. So Faith is the most important, but without taking care of your health, and without being thrifty and careful, it is no good.

I agree also. I believe also that my faith in God and the will to succeed in life will make me be able to get the best things out of life.

I think having faith in a Higher Power is most important. I believe a lot of young people tend to favor health and wealth and later on in life turn to religion when the going gets tough. I've always turned to faith for any of my problems. Besides, what does money do? It only provides temporary happiness. In the long run, family, your health, and faith, is what will carry you through.

I think that my faith in God is the most important also. If I didn't have the lord in my life then things would not be as they are today. Faith will carry us all through in the long run.

Health and wealth can be taken away from you, but your faith..that's something no one can take away from you. Without my faith good health and wealth would mean nothing to me. My faith is the most important thing to me.

No question about it faith in God tops the list. The bible says to consider the lilies. They neither toil nor work and they are arrayed in beauty. (loosely translated) A sparrow does not fall and God knows about it. We are to be like them and let God worry about the health and wealth part of it. We use the knowledge He gave us to do our best in all areas of our life but without Him it is nothing.

As I get older and more mature about things going on, and life within itself, Health is very important as that is what gets us by, but one of my main things I always continue to count and Trust in is my Faith in a Higher Power, which for me is Jesus Christ. He is my everything, and without him I have no where to turn too for sure. So when I hurt, feel powerless, or lacking something all I do is turn to him in Prayer asking for what I need and in his time he will answer.

I agree. I am not a very religious person myself. And money isn't as important as people think it is. You need your health.

The things that you have mentioned are all like a balanced diet. Just like a lunch plate containing all ingredients like protein, sodium, potassium, calcium etc., even our body and soul needs everything correctly. May be some will concentrate on certain things more like I like sweet and prefer sweet items to hot stuff.

What is more important to me would be the will to survive, the non-fear to admit defeat and not to crumble when falling and last but not least, to appreciate every little happiness that God has bestowed upon.
Life is short indeed. I have always believed that there can only be so many years on Earth for us. It's best to enrich it with good deeds and sharing joy and happiness with family, love ones and acquaintances.

I still do choose the Faith in a Higher Power. No matter how broke we are or how bad our health is but if still have this immeasurabble Faith in a Higher Power still we can overcome it. It's our faith that keeps us surviving in whatever atrocities that we are encountering in our daily journey in life.

Well.. that's a tricky question. Without health, wealth is pretty meaningless. A healthy and wealthy person can be rather happy for a time... but, then again they do say that "he who multiplies possessions multiplies woes." We tend to become owned by the things we own. Wealth does not always equate to happiness. Then there is the issue of the higher power, which can be very complicated.
People of faith are an interesting breed. About this, I could say much. But, essentially, faith in a higher power may be abused. As most faiths teach you not to question the faith, this leaves you subject to manipulation and exploitations which you are told not to question. (Faith is a circular argument.)
Health, Wealth, Faith? Ultimately all three can fail you. I believe the best you can do is live a rational life filled with self-improvement through reflection and study. An attempt to glean a clearer picture of the world around you and how everyone can live at peace with each other. If you living a simple life.. with a simple diet.. enjoying wholesome pursuits, I believe you will have health. If you do not waste your wealth chasing after vainglorious or hedonistic ends, you should attain enough wealth for your needs. And, if you treat your brothers and sisters on the earth with kindness and respect, I should hope the Higher Power will show as much consideration and mercy to you as you have shown to others.
With a balanced approach, I think all three are tied to each other.

Wow this is really a great discussion because there is no clear cut answer because all thse factors are interelated. However if I could choose one I would choose health becuase I believe that if I have health then I can have all the others,I can work to get wealth and chances are my faith in the higher power would likely to be easier and next would come faith in a higher power or is it vice versa lol ,either way wealth would come last .
Now back to the interrelations.A faith in a higher power should really lead to wealth and health as the higher power seeks to bless you and give prosperity. On the flip side of that though is that if you have wealth then chances are you will be able to afford good health care and in addition good healthy foods..
Wow I am all tongue tied ...really great discussoon .Have a good day Steph

Health is top priority. Even to pray one should have good health. To make wealth, one should have good health. One cannot get health by having plenty of money.

wow!! what a good questions! For me, the important above all is Faith, because with it comes the goodness in you, believing in God, with faith, you also become a good person and comes along with it, sometimes there are gifts that He has given us and that is wealth, as for health.

With this type of question, there is only answer that I can provide for you. Faith in a Higher Power! Of course, that does depend on "who" your higher power is! But all in all, (and I do think that there has been research on it), religion has a huge impact on what people do, and having faith in something is actually pretty healthy. Notice how a lot of different religions might have restrictions on some food (which isn't much of a bad thing), teach the people to abstain for immoral acts and really have a lot of emphasize on working as a "community" within your religion and keeping your morals up! Of course their are some religious cults out there that are the *exception* but there are some positive things about religion that keep people alive and well.
Now when it comes to my religion, Christianity, a true Christian know and lives by the Word and they will "Seek first the kingdom of God..." and all things will be added on to them. So, in my perspective, well, based upon my beliefs, health and wealth is all good and important, but if I focus on my "religion" or "relationship" with Christ first, He will provide all of my needs. I need not to worry about my health and my wealth because He will have my back! Since we're human, some of us do believe this, but we don't have enough faith to believe it. That's why there are times when we miss our blessings and healings because we believed that we could take care of ourselves more than our God could. We turned to doctors and lawyers before we go to God. In everything that I do (and it's something that I am also working on) we need to give our attention to Christ and believe that He'll hook us up! Though it may not occur the way we would expect to be "healed" or "have our bills payed"... He still does find a way.
True story -
A woman had a little over $800 left over, no job, no source of a good income. She went to church and they were having a special offering that day and the pastor was speaking about you could give as much as you want... yada yada yada. Now, the woman knew she had to give $100 but she just kept thinking about how she could not afford to do that! But she did it. The next day she went ahead, in faith, and bought a Toyota, luckily for about $700. She had a couple bucks left over and just tried to live in faith that God will provide a way for her to pay her bills and buy food to stay alive! So now, she decided to get her car washed. She didn't really want to and she barely had any money but something was just telling her to go do it. The man took out a bag from her car because they'd rather not wash the car with all those items in there.
She opened the bag and found money in there. How much you ask? I won't tell you how much... I'll just tell you that she was about to donate $15,000 to the church, and buy herself a new house... cash.
Of course, some might think "oh she was just lucky", but there are so many stories out there about people with faith... that sometimes I wonder, does luck really happen that often. I don't see it as luck... God just works in many different ways.
So what's my conclusion? My faith is what keeps me alive, not just physically but spiritually.

For me it is health as without it nothing else really matters, i can't say it is religion as i am not a religious person and it really plays not substantial part in my life and i get by ok. Faith however is different i think faith in yourself is important, you will never reach your goals if you do not believe you can.

health and wealth. both of them are inter connected like if you dont have health and you wanna play with your wealth you cant do it. and if you have health but have no money whats the need of that health, however. good health, having faith in yourself can make good money. however religion is a separate entity. separate from health and wealth, good or bad health , good or bad wealth doesnt allow us to be out of religion. so i feel religion is the most important thing rest definitely side by side everything you strive you will get:)
