Yesterday I came down with a bit of something that seemed like mild food poisoning; not enough to make me fully nauseous, but enough to keep me far from food all day. Today I've been trying to stick to the BRAT diet (banana, rice, applesauce, toast), since I don't think I can quite handle anything heavy yet. What do you do when you feel nauseous? I know that ginger tea can work well, as well as ginger candy for car sickness.

here are some home remedies for nausea 1)You can consume 1/2 teaspoon of grounded cumin seeds to reduce nausea. 2)After boiling 1/2 cup of rice in 1 cup of water for 10-20 mts consume the rice water after draining the rice from it. 3)Mint is a soothing herb that can settle the stomach. Hope these tips work for you!

if you suffered from mild poisoning, it's better for you to vomit if you feel like vomiting. don't stop yourself from throwing up. atleast, you get to throw up something you've eaten with a bit of a poison. it's right. try to make yourself eat. and then, rest after. take a nap for atleast two or three hours. then if you can, see a doctor for opinions and further treatment.
