One night stands, is it worth it?

Feeling empty inside, perhaps after a bad relationship, perhaps it is just what you do all the time.
Chatting with some gal on a bar and asking her if she'd like to come over to your place, the last time you see her is in the next morning (at best).
Is that really worth it?

after a bad relationship,this is all you want to do.....to have fun and forget what happend in the past.
theoretically it is not a good thing....but sometimes you have to do what you feel it is best for you.
I think it is a good thing....as long as you do not hurt somebody

It takes care of the "problem" at the moment, and that's it. After that, it doesn't matter. It's like, should you get drunk? You know you'll feel better for a while, but then is the hangover worth it? Everyone has choices. That's why I quit drinking - it couded up my mind and did stupid things that I wouldn't have done sober. It's just not woth it!

And then you wonder If she's that easy, how many other men has she slept with? And do I need to go get tested for a disease? So, off to the doctor who tells you that you are a fool, does the tests, and then you wait and wait and ait, because the testing takes so long because there are thousands of other fools who did the same thing. Keep your pants on, hon, its just not worth it any more.
