I know the things she likes but they are to expensive for us. With that comes the fact that she wants something realy special. 7 (almost 8 ) year old girls can be very difficult. I always say, give me 10 boys instead of 1 girl. hahaha just a joke. I appreciate the trouble you took though for answering my cry out. Thanks.

Does she want to do something at home or go someplace... Here is a site that you can order stuffed animals and they can stuff them and dress them .. my idea would be to get the plan tee shirts and get fabric markers and let them decorate them. Let her pick out everything.. Or give her options depending on what you want to spend... I love girls parties if i can help in anyway please let me know.

That are realy great ideas. Girls like to do something with their hands. I already sat with her behind the computer to look something up. You know girls of her age. Veeerrrrryyyy difficult. When we don't succeed I let you know. Thanks for your great offer realy super. Many greetings from Holland.

I get a magazine, Oriental Trading. It gives you wonderful ideas for theme parties for kids. I did a cute luai party for my daughters 10th birthday. We did it as a surprise party with hula skirts & luai music. As a craft, I had the girls do picture frames with seashells. The girls had a blast. We've done parties with magicians, bowling parties, lazer tag & a mini golf party. The big thing is that the kids have fun and hang out together. For 8, you could do a rock & roll theme, a pizza & slumber party, horse theme with a rented pony, swim party with a mermaid or fish theme, ect. be creative.
I think I have more fun pulling together treat bags and seeing what I can find on e-bay than I need to.
Here is that website for Oriental Trading. I hope it helps.

Thanks I will take a look at the site you recommended. I am a creative women but only with cards and clothes. Mayby stupid but with 8 girls I find it very difficult. I still have a month to figure something out and thank you for the website.

My 9 year old cousin had a makeover party. All of her girlfriends came over. Her mother asked myself and some of my friends (in college) to come over and treat the girls to a "spa day". Her mom bought make up from walmart and had lotions and nail polish. We all had a special task (nails, make up, hair, or pedicures). And each girl got to wear a tiara because all girls are special. She loved it. At that age, some girls are wanting to be "grown up" with make up and such. And it makes her feel like she is a grown up. Just an idea.

A fun idea is paperbag scrapbooks. You just take lunch bags fold them in half I usually do two bags so there are eight pages. Then you just get some cheap paper like a paper stack from Jo-anns and some glue sticks. Then just let them have at it. It makes a fun take home gift and you don't have to worry about games, prizes and massive theme decorations. You can do a search on Paperbag scrapbooks and millions sites will pop up. Well that's my idea LOL

Again a very good idea. I looked at a lot off sites lately and there wer good ideas but you always have to buy expensive things. A scabbook is nice. Thanks for your advice.

What about a pinata party. Fix it up Mexican style, and play hit the pinata filled with all kinds of goodies.
Or a slumber pizza party.
How about an ice skating or rollablade party.
