This the craziest "religion" I have ever seen. Personally I think it is just one of many bizarre Hollywood fashion trends. In fact, I think it has already run it's course and many will start to dwindle back from it. Especially now Tommy Pew will be the official poster child for it. They could not have picked a nuttier person, IMO. Of course, it is a nutty belief created by a nuttier person. So I reckon it all fits. LOL

Oh sure they could have picked someone stranger. Billy Bob Thornton maybe? Yeah, I used to like Katie Holmes until she went for this garbage and made me realize she has no brain. lol

Nobody "picked" Tom Cruise - he's a Scientologist like any other of millions of Scientologists. He happens to be famous, so he attracts more attention, that's all. Just like Madonna with Kaballah, or Richard Gere with Buddhism. Gere is NOT an official representative of Buddhism, and Cruise is NOT an official representative of Scientology. They're just actors.
