Toddler and new kitten?

My son is a year and a half and we just got a new kitten for him. He plays a little rough with her, how can we teach him to play nice? My son also chases her around the house, will he ever get used to her?

Thank you! I am just worried because all my son does is chace this kittne around. It's torture really. I don't want the kitten to hate my son, I got her so they could grow up together. He is really gentle with her though and has started to pet her nicely.
