Old Games Vs. New Games

Yesterday, i sitted in front of my computer and looked at my pile of 200 games, then i saw in the bottom an old scratched CD with the label "Alone in th dark" and suddenly i remembered those days when the games where endless, fun and SIMPLES, i looked all the pile and found "Worms 2", "Command & Conquer" and that kind of games... I even found lots of diskettes with games like "Prince of persia", "Donkey Kong" and "Space invaders". Later i saw my recently bought "Oblivion" game and thought "What happened with the funny simple and addictive games? Why are we thinking of awesome graphics and lots of combos when we can use the arrow keys and get the same fun?" I'm playing Java and Flash games ATM because they are FUN. What do you think of them? Would you change your Sims 2 for a good two players pong? would you change your counter strike for a sunset riders? Only for 1 day. Think about that, and post it if you desire. Good day =)
