If only MyLot would give extra points for adding friends on the friends list.

I am sure there would be no debate regarding "is it ok to have more friends or not". I mean, I've seen and responded to a lot of discussions lately regarding adding friends and rejecting friend request. Friends are friends, it is good if they are posting in our discussions but I don't see anything wrong if they become inactive for some time. Yes having friends help too, especially if you have some important questions, isn't that an "incentive" already why we have friends here at MyLot?

Well I think the friend thing is so you can build a support group for earnings. This is only my guess and the best way to use this option productively, IMO. You post to their posts, they post to yours, and that way you both are guaranteed your posts will be read and rated. However, that isn't how others see it, so it's doesn't work that way so well. It would be nice if their was a pay system or point system for loyal Mylot friends. Maybe when you post to a Mylot friend, it is worth 2 points or it pays a penny more. Don't you think? But I am happy with how things are now, you are right, one incentive is you have someone you can ask for advice from, or even vent to without posting it on the boards.

I am sure that make more friend and get more money here. Of cause many people just post and the other reply his post, and never response his friend's post, if I find thind of people I always delete them from my friend list. Friend can help each other and response other's post, but if they are inactive, I think you can delete them .

I agree with you but alot of people don't even answer your topics after adding them. I got over 200 friends on my other account and yet barely any of them ever answer my topics. But your rigth friends are friends though.

Well, yes you're right friends are friends rather they do reply on our topic or not but will still our friends. If myLot will give extra points for adding friends it is good, I means as I have 90 friends now I can earn something and gather some good friends either, However, try not to think negative about your friends and hope for the best!

I don't see a problem with having hundreds of friends on your friend list here at Mylot, if that is what you choose. Everyone has to make their own decision regarding what they want to do with their friend list. I do agree that if Mylot were paying us to add friends, though, that very few people would be complaining! *laugh* For me personally, the only reason I can see having a huge friend list being bad is if you have all of your friend notifications turned to 'on' and you are getting hundreds of emails from Mylot a day telling you about topics that these friends have started that you have no time or energy to reply to. That is why some people want only quality friends on their list, and I can understand that. Eventually I am going to make sure that mostly only the people who write topics of discussion that I know will be good ones (like yours! ^_^ ) will have the notification turned to 'on' in my friend list, since I will have less time to be on Mylot later in the year. but right now I have plenty of time, so I am leaving most all of my friend notifications to 'on'. ^_^

If they gave points for that, no one would be posting... we're not even sure if they're drawing the type of crowd they wanted, but at least they have lots of messages online already.

that would be a good thing to have but then incentive for having friends would be unnecessary or not very useful.

Yes I think it is ok to have more friends but I can understand why people have deleted some of their friends in mylot as some of these members do nothing and they do not reply to any of their emails when they are sent privately to them so what kind of friend are they I personally have not had this problem yet as when I have sent my friends an email they have always responded and given me their opinion on what I have asked, but if someone is not replying then why stay friends with them, if they only want to be friends for their own benefit.

If they would do that everybody would be a friend of everybody offcourse. They can't do that, they'll have to earn themselves a bit! So your friends are here to help you out on topics or to give you good ratings, you can message them (but this doesn't work for me) but contact them anyway and let them know what you can do and so what he or she can do offcourse!

Really we are getting money for doing nothing so I am not going to complain . I wouldn't refuse if they offered us more but I am not going to complain about getting money for virtually doing nothing but posting to other's responses . In life today it is seldom we get anything for nothing .

I am agree that we should not making "close relationship" between friends and make money from this web. More friends you have, either by online or offline, we more rich than before. In other words, we build the network. I think MyLot is nice virtual space for us to learn many aspects and topics. We want the better life with smarter way, aren't we? Lets get many friends as possible. Get better and smarter !!
