New Fan

I just recently moved to New England, and I have never really been a basketball fan. Since I don't really have a team to root for out here (all my other sports are west coast teams)and decided to invest my time and energy in the Celtics. I want to learn everything about the team and prove myself as a fan. Can anyone fill me in?

I am not a Celtics fan but what I can tell you is that right now that they are not a very good team and have one of the worst records in basketball. They have a few good players like Paul Pierce on their team that they can rely on. They are a very young team and are rebuilding for the future so there is hope in the years ahead. I think that they will probably make some management changes at the end of the season. That is great that you want to be a fan of their team as they have a lot of history and have had great success in the past with players like Larry Bird, Robert Parrish and Kevin McHale.
