I have had more than one and I change them myself. The oly time I did not change the tire was because I couldn't get the hubcaps off. The car was fairly new and I did not know there was a key to unlock them.

It is lucky that you never drive alone but you cant drive on flats without ruining the tire

I have roadside service so I called them and they fixed it. I don't even know how to change the tire.

I would always carry a can of "Fix-a-Flat". When I got a flat tire I would use that and it would get me to the nearest gas station or to a friend's house.

I went on a 3 hour long trip for the weekend heading back I had a blow out about a block from my house (luckily I was back in town!!) I called my two guy roommates who helped me put the "doughnut" tire on.

Being a manly man you bet I did. Well, not really for that reason. I simply don't like waiting. ‹(°¿°)›

I can say that I have been lucky enough to have my partner each time that we have had a flat tire. BUT...I do not how to change it and have helped to change it. The first time we had a flat, I wanted my partner to know that I knew what I was doing so he would never have to worry about me in the future. So, I have always been right there with him helping him when we have had a flat. LOL Of course, being raised in a gas stations...if I didn't know how to change a flat, my father would come back and slap me on the back of the head. Hey wait! I would love to see my dad again...so, Nope! Don't know how to change one! What's a lug nut? ha ha Dang! Didn't work!

The first time I had a flat tyre I had to call my mechanic, He had a good laugh because I did not know how to do it myself. So I learned to do it myself not to be embarrased in such situations.

I have had a few flat tires in my life, but I have never changed one. Every time I have had one, I was lucky enough to have a handy guy close-by, so I never even had to try to do it myself. Honestly, I would be scared to do it, because I would be afraid that the "jack" would malfunction and the car would come cashing down on my hands. Thank God for men....

I have had a blow out before and luckily I had 2 friends with me. None of us knew what to do so we walked to a house for help. I still dont know how to change a flat tire or anything that has anything to do with cars..lol Thank God for cell phones!
