Computers to replace Human Resources

Why is it that most establishments believe it is but right to retrench personnels once their operation is already computerized?

i think humans are irreplaceable... but companies are doing this to save costs. once computerized, only the operators are required. it would save them from the operating costs. employing humans would also mean providing them with so many benefits while computerization only requires maintenance.

I agree in cost-saving...but isn't it that in doing so, they are only magnifying the problem of unemployment? Besides, maintenance of these stuff are also costly. just a thought...

that is the result of the globalization...the people are more satisfied with the work of the computer than to the person..
